Through worship and discovering the truths of God in the Bible, we seek to praise God and learn about who He is during our gatherings together.
OUR MISSION

Our Values
Accountability
Rather than live isolated, FBC Pipe Creek seeks to be known not only by God, but by each other. This creates opportunities to live life and serve together, for the purpose of growing together.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10: 24–25
Availability
We desire to be available with our time to disciple, serve, and listen to the needs of the community.
"Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come. And He was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; thereforebeseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'"
Luke 10: 1–2
What We Believe
First Baptist Church Pipe Creek is a Bible-teaching Baptist church rooted in Scripture and committed to loving God, loving people, and serving our local communities. Located in the heart of Pipe Creek, Texas, we welcome families, students, and individuals from Bandera, Lakehills, San Antonio, and the surrounding Hill Country.
Our beliefs are grounded in God’s Word and centered on Jesus Christ—His life, death, and resurrection. We believe the Bible is true, God is good, and the local church is called to be a place of hope, discipleship, and community. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a home church, we’d love to walk alongside you.
We believe the Bible—the 66 books of the Old and New Testament—is God’s true and complete Word. It was inspired by God, written without error in its original form, and is fully trustworthy for teaching us how to live, grow in faith, and know God personally. Scripture is the foundation for everything we believe and the final authority in our church.
(2 Timothy 3:14–17)
We believe in one true God who exists eternally as three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit—often referred to as the Trinity. These three are equal in power, presence, and glory. God created all things, sustains all things, and is worthy of all honor.
(John 17:3; Matthew 28:19–20; Revelation 4:11; Hebrews 1:3)
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man—the Son of God who came to earth, born of the virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and willingly gave His life on the cross to rescue us from sin. He rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now intercedes for us. We believe He will one day return in glory.
(John 1:1–18; Colossians 1:13–22; 1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe the Holy Spirit is active and personal—not a distant force, but God present with us today. He draws people to Jesus, renews hearts, lives within believers, comforts us, guides us, convicts us of sin, and strengthens us to live faithfully and love others well.
(John 16:8; John 13:15; Titus 3:5)
We believe God created humanity with purpose and dignity, but sin entered the world and separated us from Him. Because of sin, every person—by nature and choice—needs a Savior. No one can earn their way back to God, but Jesus made a way for all of us to be forgiven and restored.
(Genesis 3:1–6; Romans 3:10–19)
We believe salvation is a gift—given freely through Jesus’ death and resurrection. When a person places their faith in Him, they are forgiven, made new, and adopted into God’s family forever. Salvation is not earned, it’s received by grace through faith. We believe Jesus is returning again, and His Kingdom will be fully realized.
(Romans 8:37–39; Romans 10:9–13; Hebrews 7:25–27)
We believe baptism is an outward celebration of an inward transformation—a public declaration that someone has placed their faith in Jesus. We practice baptism by immersion to reflect Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.
We also practice communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a sacred time of remembering Jesus’ sacrifice, taking it together with reverence and gratitude.
(Romans 6:3–6; 1 Corinthians 11:20–29)
We believe the Church is more than a building—it's a family of believers united by Jesus. Every person who places faith in Him becomes part of His global Church. We gather locally to worship, pray, grow in God’s Word, support one another, use our gifts to serve, and share the hope of Jesus with the world.
We believe we are called to love God, love people, and make disciples—carrying out the Great Commission with compassion, humility, and joy. Wherever believers gather in His name, there is the local expression of the Church, united in one purpose: to bring glory to Jesus.
(Acts 2:42–46; Ephesians 4:16; Matthew 28:18–20; Romans 12:1)
